Support CLAH

Gifts to CLAH sustain the prizes, awards, and fellowships that recognize outstanding scholarship in Latin American history.

Why Give

[PLACEHOLDER COPY] For a century, the Conference on Latin American History has recognized distinguished scholarship, teaching, and service through its prizes and awards. Those honors are sustained entirely by the generosity of members and friends of the field. A gift of any size helps CLAH continue to support historians at every stage of their careers.

Ways to Give

[PLACEHOLDER COPY] You may direct your gift to a specific prize or award, or contribute to the general Prize and Award fund, which allows CLAH to allocate support where it is needed most. Both options are available through the secure donation form.

Option One

Give to a Specific Prize

[PLACEHOLDER] Direct your gift to a named prize or award — the Bolton-Johnson Prize, the Lydia Cabrera Awards, the James R. Scobie Awards, or any other CLAH honor.

Option Two

Give to the General Fund

[PLACEHOLDER] Contribute to the general Prize and Award fund and let CLAH direct your gift where it will do the most good across all prizes.

Good to Know

[PLACEHOLDER COPY] The Conference on Latin American History is a non-political, autonomous, incorporated, tax-exempt, and non-profit society affiliated with the American Historical Association. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor.
